Grace to you and peace through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; who is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Words cannot begin to describe the feeling that I have at this moment. As I reflect over these last few months here, the only word I can use to sum up the experience is “awesome”! Sowing as Pastor here is truly a humbling calling that I do not take lightly or for granted. I speak truthfully from my heart when I say that I am indeed honored to serve this church as pastor and will continue to seek God for its’ leadership and success.

 

We, at Mt. Horeb Primitive Baptist Church, praise the Lord for all that is taking place and all that the Lord has in store in the days ahead! We lift our hearts in praise and in gratitude to our Lord who has brought us to this point in our history. It is my desire as your pastor to lead the Mt. Horeb church family in a more concerted and unified effort in reaching the lost like the early church in the book of Acts. The early Christians were all of one mind and all on one accord and they didn’t lack for anything. I will need your prayers, leadership, cooperation, and service. This year you will be challenged to love more, serve more, and give more to advance the Kingdom of God.

 

As we tread into this coming year, I am prayerful that God will continue to dwell in this place and that He will give us a deeper revelation of himself in our lives. Let us strive to grow in the knowledge, grace, and truth of Him. Believe it or not, all that we have seen in these past few months, God has even more in store for this great church and His people. I solicit your continued prayers in my ministry here. I pray that the God of grace, mercy, and peace will forever be in your lives, your homes, and every endeavor you undertake. Thank you all again for the wonderful experience that you have given me in this position that God has called me to. Let us always look to Jesus and live for His return; loving one another in brotherly love, and sowing him in spirit and in truth.  Know that you all are special to me and I carry a love for you in my heart that is surpassed.
